As everyone knows, it is not easy being a mother, have a job and live life.  Most woman today time work, make sure the children are fed and then still remember to live. Just because we have kids doesn’t mean that we should suddenly stop life. I understand that point. Yes, I need to all of a sudden change nappies, feed the children, attend school meetings, etc etc etc, not even speaking of the husband or the ex husband or the boyfriend or  being a single mom’s challenges.

Remember being 10 years old and wanting to become fire men or doctors or superman. I wanted to be an air stewardess. We have had our planning and everything would just fall into place ,  our plan was to live life and then we got pregnant and everything changed.  I never became a stewardess, but I make sure to fly as much as possible, to talk with other stewardesses. My female neighbor never became a doctor, but then on one sunny day she married a doctor.

Live Life

Ladies we are so much more than that dream when we were 10 years old.

• We have given life to the most precious dream ever. 
• Write a book of your life and I believe it will be worth reading.
• Being time, we decide when everybody eats, when the alarms goes off  and what movie to watch.
• Us as women are a running encyclopedia, we need to know what medicines to give when someone in the house is sick, we need to answer all of our children’s questions.
• As we are the core of our children’s lives, everything we do reflects on our children.
• Every women out there are just like birds in nature, each one of us builds our nest as we want it to be.
• We are the photographer of life, every moment we treasure in our hearts and our wonderful brain,  At night we can lay in bed  and just think back, recalling every photo taken up there.
• Being the engine of the home. The moment when you sit back and your children makes you coffee is the moment you can sit back and let your engine just cool down.

We don’t need beautiful jewels to look good. Live life, take care of our loved ones and every moment is a jewel on its own.

Sometimes you feel the rain fall on you and you don’t have the energy to to rule the world. It’s okay to just sit and breathe. There’s days when the sun shines on you and you want to take your new dreams on, it’s like a new start. We as woman are the center of attention and that’s a fact.

What is your passion

Travel and food in my passion and Yes I can not live out my dreams every day. My children come first, but if their tummies are full and their eyes are shut sleeping, then I live life and live every second of my dreams.

For all the women out there. Travel, go see as much as what you can even if it is just the local coffee shop. Eat  and enjoy every bite, because you need to fuel your engine to keep going. Live and do not forget to live. Enjoy life, one day you will sit on the veranda at the old age home and the stories will be told non stop,  never a dull moment.

Be yourself, love your work, travel often and eat well.
