Eating Tourist’s all new Basting and Marinade Sauce
Not your ordinary Basting sauce – Eating Tourist
If you would have told me ten years ago that my own home made Eating Tourist Basting and Marinade sauce will become so popular, I would have laughed. As time passed by it just sank more in my head the logic of the idea. I played around and then the light bulb switch on and wow. I love this sauce. It is my baby and I am the one that worked on it, making it over and over and over until the right taste appeared.
It all started with Ribs and Chicken wings. The normal Basting Sauce out there just was not enough to give me the satisfying taste that I needed. So I started playing around in the kitchen. If I tell you that I made 500 batches, I am not joking. I was looking for a sauce that not only work on meat, but will suit the vegan, meat lover, children meal, snack option and so much more. Basically a ALL IN ONE sauce.
There are so many options to use the Eating Tourist Basting and Marinade Sauce.
- Half Boil your potatoes in water, cut in half, season and cover in the sauce. Bake in the oven until soft inside and crispy on the outside.
- When you make meatballs in the oven. Instead of powdered sauces, rather take the sauce and cover the meatballs. Bake in the oven until the meat is nice brown.
- Making sandwiches for the Braai. Smear the bread on the inside with the sauce, add cheese, onion and tomato. Braai until bread is nice crispy and cheese has melted.
- When serving crisps for your guests, mix one part sauce and two parts mayonnaise.
- When serving raw vegetables for your guests, mix one part sauce and two parts Greek yogurt.
- My favorite is a nice piece of steak on the bbq. Just before taking it of cover the steak in the sauce and place back on heat for couple of seconds.
