You’ll need the following:
- 3 cups Self-Raising Flour 3 Large Eggs
- 2 1/2 cups Full Cream Milk 1 tbsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 tspn Baking Powder 1/2 tspn Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter, Melted 2 cups Cooked Bacon Bits
- 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon, Fine 1 Apple, Grated
Mashed Avocado (As Required) Maple Syrup
- Butter To Fry The Flapjack
- In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, eggs, milk, vanilla essence, baking powder, salt, butter, bacon, Cinnamon, and Apple.
- Take a non-stick pan and melt some butter. Use the ladle full of batter and gently pour in the middle of the pan, then wait for a minute, turn around and bake for another minute on the other side. Depending on your heat, the time slots will change so keep an eye on the batter.
Once you’ve finished all the steps, all that’s left is to serve. I enjoy mine with mashed avocado and syrup, but anything goes perfectly with this meal, whether it’s with strawberries or honey drizzled over with toasted almonds; it’s a delicious combination that’ll leave you wanting more.
